This artwork represents the same spot in Lidder Valley, Kashmir, at three different times of the day. The play of light dramatically changes the look of the place, from early morning, to sunset, to a gloriously starry midnight.
Hand-drawn, hand-carved, and hand-pulled, this work has been created with a single block of linoleum, using the reduction process (one colour after the other printed from the same block with a stage of further carving in between).
